Rapture – 1

It is fascinating to study what the Bible have to say about the encounter of the Savior with the Church in the air. A day that will chock the entire planet, when a huge number of people from all places will depart the world, being transformed and elevated from the ground, as if gravity would have lost its power to hold humans to the earth. The signs of the end times, the ones found in the Bible, are telling us that event would most likely be very close. Then the advice is to get yourself ready so to not to miss it at any cost. Why? Because afterwards many theologians would say there will be a time when the planet will be facing terrible time, times of destruction and calamities for the ones that would not hear God, and decided to give their backs to God without repenting from their sins. Those will be the ones and did not listen to Christ, who gave his life on the cross so everyone would be saved and found clean to be in the presence of God for ever. It is a matter of personal decision. It is up to everyone to choose what to do with their lives.

There are already movies in the internet with the aim to prepare humanity for this occasion. Including telling histories about aliens coming to capture human beings, and taking many away. There are also some movies telling the truth, showing the story from the correct perspective, as the bible does.

There is a passage in the bible telling about the wise virgins and the foolish ones. The bridegroom representing Jesus Christ, and the virgins representing his followers. 

“Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, “Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!” Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the wise, “Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.” But the wise answered, saying, “What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.” While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, “Lord, Lord, open to us.” But he answered, “Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.” Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of man is coming.” — Matthew 25:1-13

So, it is critical to be ready, and with extra oil available. When the bridegroom said “I do not know you” Jesus as the bridegroom is saying that intimacy was not part of their relationship. So it is one thing to say you are a Christian. But it is a totally different thing to be known as a follower by Jesus Christ. So, how do you buy oil? Because you will need it. Well, intimacy is the oil, basically. No one can give us the oil of intimacy. We must go and “buy it” for ourselves. God sets up places for the outpouring of His Spirit so we can go there to encounter Jesus, be equipped, be healed, and be set free from barriers and hindrances. Some churches, with the presence of God, are one way that God provides for us to “buy oil.” Yet the core of our relationship—our daily walk and communion with Him—is our main way of “buying oil.”  There must be a true walk of a believer with God.

But before rapture happens, there should be an event that will need to come first.This will be the last revival  happening on planet earth, the last, and the biggest one in history. A time when God will provide a enormous thirsty towards God. Christians will realize they need to be in deeper relationship with God.  And they will search God. And repent. The church is the bride of Christ, and the Groom will meet a beautiful bride, dressed in clean white dress, holy and ready to meet her beloved Savior and Lord. If you are not a follower of Christ, it is still time. Search God while you still can.

So, as the signs are telling us the end times are here, one must pay full attention. Be alert. Be ready. No one would like to be left behind. People that would not repent, and would not search a relationship with God will face harsh consequences. Rebellious people that would decide to not humble them selves and not repent from their sins, will face the calamities on planet earth. One can read the last book of the Bible to see the list of disasters coming to meet the ones that would decide to give their back to Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to save all from hell.
